The Election Commission of India has launched a 'Book-a-Call with BLO' service in Uttar Pradesh to assist voters during the ongoing electoral roll revision. This initiative allows voters to schedule phone calls with Booth Level Officers via the ECI portal or mobile app for help with inclusion, deletion, or correction of details. The claims and objections period for the draft electoral roll, which excluded 2.89 crore voters and retained 12.55 crore, remains open until February 6, 2026.
