The Election Commission of India (ECI) is hosting the inaugural India International Conference on Democracy and Election Management (IICDEM) from January 21-23, 2026, in New Delhi. Organized by IIIDEM, the event will gather over 90 international delegates from 42 election management bodies to discuss electoral challenges, including voter roll integrity, technological interventions, and Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercises. The conference aims to foster global cooperation, exchange best practices, and develop shared responses to contemporary electoral issues under the theme 'Democracy for an inclusive, peaceful, resilient, and sustainable world'.
