The Supreme Court has reserved its verdict on a plea by Allahabad High Court judge Yashwant Varma challenging the parliamentary panel probing corruption charges against him. Varma's lawyers argued that the Lok Sabha Speaker unilaterally formed the inquiry committee despite motions being moved in both Houses, violating the Judges (Inquiry) Act.
