
The United States has imposed sanctions on eleven top International Criminal Court (ICC) officials, including eight judges and three prosecutors. These sanctions, initiated under the Trump administration and continued, block access to U.S. funds, goods, and services. The measures are a retaliation for the ICC's investigation into alleged U.S. personnel war crimes in Afghanistan and, more recently, to pressure the court regarding arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant concerning actions in Gaza.
