Social organizations protested on Saturday, demanding criminal proceedings against ruling party members allegedly involved in a spurious drug case. An independent legislator stated the main accused has links to a ruling party leader and called for the leader's resignation or removal to ensure a smooth CBI probe, which has been ordered by the Lieutenant Governor.
