
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached assets valued at Rs 3.60 crore belonging to state minister Chandranath Sinha and his family in connection with a primary teachers' recruitment scam. The ED claims Sinha collected Rs 12.75 crore from ineligible candidates and recommended 159 individuals for jobs. The agency has filed a charge sheet against Sinha, who has been named as an accused. The attached properties, including movable and immovable assets, are reportedly worth double their registration value.
