
The Delhi government has significantly increased the budget for the Narela Education City project from Rs 500 crore to Rs 1,300 crore. This initiative aims to develop Narela into a world-class education and innovation hub. Land parcels have been formally handed over to Delhi Teachers' University (12.69 acres) and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (22.43 acres), with Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women having received land earlier. The project will span nearly 160 acres and adopt a shared campus model for optimal resource utilization.
