
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya launched programs in Varanasi aimed at increasing the income of women in Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to create 'lakhpati didis'. Initiatives include agreements for SHGs to operate community halls and provide catering services, and the provision of e-rickshaws. An agreement was also signed to provide Pink Autos to women from SHGs through a Chief Minister's Entrepreneurship Scheme, with CSR funding support.
