
A high-level meeting is scheduled in New Delhi today, chaired by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, to address delays in Madhya Pradesh's national highway projects worth Rs 4,667 crore. The meeting aims to resolve bottlenecks including land acquisition issues, forest and environmental clearances, and procedural hurdles slowing down 61 ongoing projects. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav confirmed the meeting, which will involve state officials and representatives from NHAI and MoRTH to boost highway network expansion.
