The BJP has accused West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the state police of obstructing Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids on I-PAC premises in Kolkata. BJP leaders allege that I-PAC, a political consultancy firm, may be a "slush-money front" for the Trinamool Congress (TMC). They question the presence of the Director General of Police during the raids and claim Banerjee "forcibly" removed files. The ED's investigation is reportedly linked to a 2020 coal-smuggling case.
