Maharashtra's Public Health Department will now link officer transfers and promotions to performance rankings, as per instructions from Health Minister Prakash Abitkar. The State Health Systems Resource Centre (SHSRC) will evaluate senior officers monthly based on administrative, technical, and financial parameters. This initiative aims to enhance transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the state's health services. The department will also focus on mobilizing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funding for health programs.
