Ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections, Mumbai citizens and health rights groups have released a 17-point manifesto demanding health be declared a fundamental right. Key demands include free medicines and diagnostics in civic facilities, expansion of public hospitals, and an end to user fees.
