A Member of Parliament stated that the construction of the Bhogapuram international airport, slated for completion by June 30, 2026, will significantly reduce migration from Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts. He anticipates the airport will serve as an economic hub, creating thousands of direct and indirect jobs. The MP also requested the Chief Minister to establish more skill development centers to prepare local youth for employment opportunities in the region, including those in the proposed MRO facility, hotels, and MSME parks.
