
The Kerala government has allocated an additional Rs 93.72 crore to the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), bringing the total financial assistance for the current fiscal year to Rs 1,201.56 crore. This includes pension payments and special aid. The state budget had allocated Rs 900 crore, with an additional Rs 301.56 crore released previously. The current and previous LDF governments have provided a total of Rs 13,029.72 crore, significantly more than the Rs 1,467 crore provided by the preceding UDF government over five years.
