Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan stated that the state government is actively implementing recommendations from the J.B. Koshy Commission, formed to study Christian minority issues. Of the 284 recommendations, 220 have been acted upon by 17 departments since the report's May 2023 submission. Vijayan noted that remaining recommendations require legal amendments or inter-departmental consent, with instructions issued for swift decisions. He also addressed what he termed misleading media reports regarding the implementation progress.
