Delhi's Forest Department is using 1,275 kg of boneless chicken to manage black kite movements and prevent bird strikes during the Republic Day air show. This annual exercise, conducted from January 15-26 at 20 locations, aims to divert birds from flight corridors. The meat is thrown to keep birds engaged at lower altitudes, away from low-flying aircraft.
