Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched the National IED Data Management System (NIDMS), a centralized platform for managing data on Improvised Explosive Device incidents. Developed under the National Security Guard (NSG) and in collaboration with Rashtriya Raksha University, NIDMS aims to enhance prevention, investigation, and response to IED threats by enabling systematic data collection and analysis for authorized stakeholders. The system is intended to strengthen India's counter-terrorism framework.
