
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced his intention to replace the Defence Minister, offering the role to the current Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov. Zelenskyy cited Fedorov's effectiveness in digitalization and drone-related issues. The President also appointed military intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov as his new top aide, replacing Andriy Yermak amid a corruption scandal. The Defence Minister, Denys Shmyhal, was reportedly offered another government role.
