Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) officials have rejected proposals for infrastructure development, including a data centre and medical college, on over 30 acres of university land under a public-private partnership (PPP). Concerns were raised by senior officials and faculty that long-term agreements could grant private entities problematic access and compromise the university's long-term interests. The decision followed deliberations among stakeholders, with the panel concluding the PPP model was not in the institution's larger interest.
