
Venezuela's Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello stated that 100 people died in a U.S. attack that removed President Nicolas Maduro on Saturday. While the army has listed 23 dead, Venezuelan officials reported Maduro's security contingent was killed "in cold blood." Cuba also reported 32 of its military and intelligence personnel were killed. Maduro's wife reportedly sustained a head injury, and he a leg injury during the raid. A week of mourning has been declared.
