
Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) head Raj Thackeray jointly released their manifesto, 'Vachan Nama,' for the upcoming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections. The leaders attacked the BJP, alleging manipulation of the electoral process and the "stealing of candidates" through unopposed elections. Uddhav Thackeray also criticized Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar for alleged threats and called for by-elections in unopposed constituencies, asserting democracy is being replaced by "mobocracy."
