The Student Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) has urged the Maharashtra government to end recruitment delays within the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC). SIO highlighted that administrative lapses have caused many eligible candidates, particularly from marginalized communities, to exceed the age limit for various Group A, B, and C government posts. The organization is advocating for a one-year age relaxation, using January 1 as the cut-off, to provide justice to affected students and prevent future recurrences through timely examinations.
