The Mizoram assembly's Budget Session is scheduled to commence on February 17. The specific schedule, including the tabling of the fiscal year 2026-27 budget, will be determined by the Business Advisory Committee (BAC), chaired by Speaker Lalbiakzama. The BAC will also decide the session's duration. This session marks the sixth for the ninth assembly and follows the Zoram People's Movement (ZPM) government's assumption of power in December 2023.
