Bhopal's Leader of Opposition, Shabista Zaki, has formally complained to the Municipal Commissioner about the city's drinking water supply. Zaki alleges that a mechanical engineer, Udit Garg, is improperly handling civil engineering duties in the waterworks department. This, she claims, has resulted in contaminated, dirty, and foul-smelling water that does not meet drinking water standards, posing a health risk. Zaki demands the engineer's removal, an investigation, and disciplinary action, threatening further action if issues are not addressed.
