Uttar Pradesh Tourism is launching a statewide awareness campaign for its Homestay and Bed Breakfast Scheme from January 14 to 30. The initiative aims to expand tourism infrastructure, create local employment, and offer tourists affordable, culturally immersive accommodation. District tourism teams will educate residents, review pending applications, and issue registration certificates. Each district has been allocated ₹2 lakh for promotional activities. The scheme, aligned with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's vision, focuses on key tourist destinations like Mathura, Varanasi, Lucknow, Prayagraj, and Ayodhya.
