
A Bengali-speaking Muslim migrant worker from Hooghly, West Bengal, has accused BJP workers in Cuttack, Odisha, of forcing him to chant "Jai Shri Ram" and robbing him of ₹50,000. Raja Ali stated that the group entered his rented room, demanded identification, and assaulted him when he refused to chant the slogan due to his religious beliefs. He claims they then stole his earnings. Ali returned to his village on January 9, reporting the incident that occurred on January 7.
