Ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections, Uddhav Thackeray and his cousin Raj Thackeray are campaigning together on Marathi pride, aiming to retain control of the financially powerful civic body. Uddhav Thackeray expressed confidence in winning, while Aaditya Thackeray highlighted infrastructure projects initiated under his father's leadership, which he claims the BJP only inaugurated. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis countered these claims, asserting the public recognizes the Mahayuti's contributions. Thackeray also acknowledged confusion within the INDIA bloc and MVA but expressed hope for their unity.
