The Bihar State Road Development Corporation (BSRDC) aims to complete the Mithapur-Mahuli elevated road project by August, following NHAI approval for a crucial flyover. The project, intended to ease traffic on the Patna-Gaya road, faced delays due to design modifications and NHAI clearance issues. Work on pillars for the flyover, designed to connect the elevated road with the new bypass, has resumed after recent NHAI approval, with the structure set at 5.5 meters high for commercial vehicle passage.
