Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao accused Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of spreading misinformation about the Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar-Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Act. Rao alleged the Congress is opposing the legislation due to apprehension over growing public support for the BJP and is attempting to take credit for the Union government's free rice scheme. He demanded the Prime Minister's photograph be mandatory on all ration bags and receipts.
