Taiwan has condemned China for alleged transnational repression after Chinese state-linked media and social media accounts published private details of legislator Puma Shen, including satellite images of his home and workplace. Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the act as "digital authoritarianism" and psychological pressure aimed at instilling fear. China had previously labeled Shen as "wanted" for alleged secession-related activities, which Taiwan dismisses as politically motivated.
