Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has ordered district administrations to identify and demolish all unauthorized religious structures in the Itanagar Capital Region. This directive follows protests by indigenous youth groups alleging illegal immigrants are constructing these sites and encroaching on tribal land. The Chief Minister also announced plans to digitize the Inner Line Permit (ILP) system and amend regulations to strengthen monitoring and curb illegal immigration, emphasizing adherence to legal processes.
