Chaitanya Baghel, son of former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, has been released on bail from Raipur Central Jail. The Chhattisgarh High Court granted him bail in two cases related to an alleged liquor scam, registered by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the state's Anti-Corruption Bureau. The court noted his lesser role and weak evidence, criticizing the ED's reliance on statements. Bhupesh Baghel welcomed the decision, calling it a victory against "government-sponsored conspiracies" and alleging misuse of central agencies against opposition leaders.
