
The Union government has released ₹567.4 crore to Andhra Pradesh as the final installment of a ₹2,600 crore grant from the 15th Finance Commission for healthcare development. Funds are earmarked for constructing health facilities, strengthening diagnostics, and establishing wellness centers in rural and urban areas. Officials reported that ₹2,033 crore had been released and ₹1,896 crore expended prior to this latest installment, with a review identifying lapses in fund utilization.
