
The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) Chief Commissioner has directed all five corporation Commissioners to create a short-term flood mitigation plan within four months. The plan should prioritize nature-based, eco-friendly development and effective flood control. Additionally, officials are to coordinate with the Tourism Department to develop lakes as public attractions while preserving their ecosystems, permitting only non-polluting boating systems and exploring the introduction of ducks for water quality improvement.
