The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, led by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, approved Rs 944.5 crore for student kits for government school students in the 2024-25 academic year. The Centre will contribute nearly Rs 300 crore, and the state over Rs 652 crore, benefiting approximately 40 lakh students. Other approvals included funding for the Andhra Pradesh Judicial Academy, land incentives for hotel projects, and the AP Cluster Development Programme aimed at MSMEs.
