
Maharashtra's Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) registered 669 trap cases and 682 corruption-related cases in 2025. The Revenue and Land Records Department saw the most trap cases (168), followed by the police (120). A total of 988 individuals were booked in trap cases, with Class III officials being the most numerous. The ACB also recorded bribe amounts totaling over Rs 3.54 crore across 559 cases, with police officials involved in the largest sum.
