German Chancellor Friedrich Merz arrived in Ahmedabad for a two-day official visit to India. He will meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Gandhinagar, where they will issue a joint statement. The Chancellor's itinerary includes visits to Sabarmati Ashram and the Dandi Kutir museum, as well as participation in the International Kite Festival. Following his stay in Ahmedabad, Merz is scheduled to travel to Bengaluru.
