The Odisha government is prioritizing the swift completion of a new city project on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. An MoU was signed last year between the Bhubaneswar Development Authority and Singapore's Surbana Jurong Infrastructure PTE Limited. The State Cabinet approved the development of approximately 800 acres. A recent meeting finalized the scope of services for the master plan preparation, involving state urban development agencies and the Singaporean company.
