
Tamil Nadu Ministers S.S. Sivasankar and R. Rajendran inaugurated 63 'Magalir Vidiyal Payanam' buses and a new fuel retail outlet in Salem district. The buses aim to serve approximately 5.88 lakh women daily in the Salem division. The fuel outlet, costing ₹1.20 crore, is part of an initiative to establish petrol bunks at TNSTC depots across the state. The state transport corporation has also introduced 6,844 new buses out of a planned 11,328.
