Durga Prasad Subedi, husband of Nepal's Interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki, is being transferred to New Delhi for further medical treatment. Admitted to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital since last Thursday with issues including a urinary tract infection and stomach problems, Subedi has shown no significant improvement. Doctors conducted scans but detected no specific underlying cause. The family decided to seek a second opinion, leading to his discharge from the Kathmandu hospital. Subedi is a former youth leader of the Nepali Congress and has a history of political involvement, including a plane hijacking in 1973.
