Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will launch the distribution of 20 lakh free laptops to college students on January 5 in Chennai. The initiative, announced last March, aims to provide high-tech devices to students in arts, science, engineering, agriculture, and medicine. The distribution will occur in two phases, with 10 lakh laptops allocated for the first phase over the next two years.
