
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided the residence of Pratik Jain, co-founder of Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC), and the I-PAC office in West Bengal. The ED is investigating alleged hawala transactions linked to a coal smuggling case. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee condemned the raids, calling them politically motivated and an attempt to target the Trinamool Congress ahead of elections. I-PAC and the TMC have rejected the charges.
