Delhi's Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta have launched a ₹64.04 crore project to overhaul the Nangloi-Najafgarh road in West Delhi. The initiative aims to reduce traffic congestion and improve drainage by building new stormwater drains and reconstructing the road. Both officials highlighted the poor condition of the area, with Saxena attributing past delays to the previous government's neglect and Gupta stating her government initiated the project within 11 months of taking office, fulfilling a long-standing demand.
