Following a water contamination tragedy in Indore that resulted in multiple deaths, Delhi Water Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh has directed the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) to intensify inspections of water pipelines. The directives aim to prevent similar incidents in the capital by focusing on areas where water and sewer lines are in proximity, ensuring prompt response to public complaints, and conducting infrastructure audits. The DJB is tasked with deploying dedicated teams for vigilance and prioritizing repairs to safeguard the city's potable water supply.
