Indonesia is reportedly in advanced discussions with Pakistan to acquire JF-17 Thunder fighter jets and Shahpar drones. The potential deal, discussed during a meeting between Indonesian Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin and Pakistan's Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, could involve over 40 JF-17 jets. While Indonesia's Defence Ministry confirmed the meeting focused on general defense cooperation and long-term opportunities, it stated no concrete decisions have been made. Pakistan's defense industry is actively pursuing international sales.
