The Bharatiya Kisan Union (Ekta-Sidhupur) faces a potential split as a rebel faction has elected Dalvir Singh Sidhu as its new convener. The faction, comprising several district presidents, accuses current president Jagjeet Singh Dallewal of arbitrary decision-making and lack of transparency.
