
Venezuela's military held a funeral in Caracas for dozens of soldiers killed during a recent U.S. operation. The ceremony included a military orchestra, gun salutes, and flag-draped caskets. Officials stated at least 24 Venezuelan officers died in the operation that captured President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, who pleaded not guilty to drug charges in a U.S. court. Venezuela's Interior Minister claimed over 100 people were killed and injured in total.
