The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is preparing to file a money laundering case concerning alleged irregularities totaling Rs 2,000 crore in Rajasthan's mid-day meal scheme between 2020-23. This follows an FIR filed by the Rajasthan Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) naming 21 accused, including former officials and private entities. The ED claims to have unearthed evidence of corruption in the procurement of dry ration packets for over 3 crore students. The Rajasthan Congress has refuted these allegations, accusing the current government of creating a false narrative.
