Bihar's Planning and Development Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav stated that over 3,630 crore has been spent on development schemes under the Mukhya Mantri Kshetra Vikas Yojana (MMKVY) in the last five years. This expenditure covers 72,206 schemes, with 17,621 currently underway. The annual allocation per legislator has increased from 3 crore to 4 crore since 2023-24. The minister also provided figures for schemes completed under the MPLADS by members of the 17th and 18th Lok Sabha.
