A Delhi court has ordered charges to be framed against RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi, and their children in the alleged land-for-jobs scam. The court observed that the Yadav family and associates operated as a criminal enterprise, using public employment as a bargaining chip to acquire land parcels. While charges were framed against 41 individuals, 52 others, including railway officials, were discharged. The case pertains to alleged appointments in Group D posts in the Indian Railways between 2004 and 2009 in exchange for land.
